Letters from Val Fex
A letter from the house, through the whole year: the seasons in the valley, life at Chesa Pool, festivals and quiet weeks, and when rooms are free. In English, German or Italian.
Choose one letter or both.
Some places never let you go. Whoever has seen Val Fex once wants to know how life goes on there: when the larches turn gold, when the first snow falls, when the house opens again. And some want to go deeper, into the thoughts of a man who spent his most important summers in these mountains.

Sils-Maria, 1888. A story based on true events.
In the summer of 1888 Friedrich Nietzsche returns to Sils-Maria one last time. In sixteen letters you follow him on his walks, to the lake, onto the Chastè peninsula and up into Val Fex. Each letter ends with the walk you can take yourself today, from the house.
Freely told, close to the facts: places, dates and people are documented. Nietzsche's thoughts follow his books and letters; the scenes in between are invented.
We reopen on 18 December. You can already book for the coming season.
